    The Dazzlin' Dames

    High energy vaudeville-style entertainment performed by Ms. Senior Georgia pageant participants. Enjoy comedy, song and dance performed by a fabulous group of ladies, all 60+!

    Jes Schrom: Confessions

    This select collection of secrets originated from a public art project artist Jes Schrom created for Flux Projects, called "Secrets of Atlanta."  Featuring vintage handkerchiefs hung on clothes lines in the gallery, each handkerchief is embroidered with text revealing a secret, which range in content from silly things like "I shave my big toe," to more serious secrets such as, "Sometimes I cry at night," and "Son, he's not your real father." 

    Needles & Threads: Gwinnett celebrates Traditional Fiber Arts

    This is the first juried fiber arts show at The Hudgens.  Local fiber artists were invited to submit their works to be considered for inclusion, and the resulting exhibit features works by 15 artists.

    Repetition & Retual: New Sculpture in Fiber

    Group fibers exhibition featuring the works of seventeen artists united by their materials and creative process, and centers specifically on the creative act as personal obsession. Artists in this exhibit are: Emily Barletta, Karen Ciaramella, Susan Cipcic, Jennifer Crenshaw, Elisa D'Arrigo, Meredith Re' Grimsley, Amy Gross, Pat Hickman, Ferne Jacobs, Sonya Yong James, Clay McLaurin, Ruben Marroquin, Kim Matthews, Junco Sato Pollack, Karen Searle, Vadis Turner, and Katya Usvitsky.

    Lark Eden

    We all have two families, the one we are born into and the one we choose. Lark Eden is the smallest of Georgia towns and the setting for this humorous new play that traces the lives of three series of lyrical letters spanning 75 years, Emily, Mary & Thelma remind us that our friendships leave a fingerprint on the hearts of those we love. Bring your best friend!

    Group Fibers Exhibit at the Hudgens

    The Georgia, Kistner and Fowler Galleries will showcase a number of local/regional fiber artists, including Jess Schrom's "Secrets of Atlanta," "Needles and Threads" a traditional fiber arts exhibit, a student exhibit and selected works from the Hudgens' permanent collection.

    "Playing Together: Games" Exhibit at GEHC

    The GEHC invites visitors to explore the world of games in an interactive exhibit. The exhibit highlights games from around the world and across the centuries and demonstrates how people have invented imaginative ways of playing together. The exhibit features one of the earliest games known to man. Visitors can rewind the clock and play a game of Senet, which is an early racing game that dates back 3,000 years.     "Fresh" A Juried Show

    12 artists in various mediums: Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic painting, Mixed Media, Metalwork, Jewelry and Pottery. As artists we are always reaching for the best in ourselves. Together we bring that out in each other and we enjoy it when the people around us appreciate it and join us in our endeavors. We have Thursday Things each Thursday from 11 - 12:00 noon. Drop in and join us for one hour of something art related. It will enrich your life!

    Three Dimensional Art Exhibit

    Bree Sauers of Tannery Row Artist Colony creates treasures from discarded finds. View an exhibit of mixed media which includes landscapes, still-life and a paper and plaster dress collection! The artist will exhibit mixed media of 3D dresses that include commissioned wedding gowns and also paper flowers. She uses repurposed materials to create her art.
