Building Bridges of Understanding During the Civil Rights Movement. Local Norcross historian and doctoral candidate, Edie Riehm, has been researching and publishing about Dorothy Tilly and her group of southern churchwomen.  Come learn how these middle aged, white-gloved southern ladies forged positive change in southern society during the tumultuous years of the civil rights movement. Sculptour

Suwanee SculpTour will feature 15 sculptures created by a dozen artists from an array of materials, including steel, aluminum, glass, bronze, brick, stone, concrete, fiberglass, vinyl, plastic, light bulbs, car bumpers, a telephone booth, and a solar panel. The sculptures, essentially on loan to the City by the artists who were awarded a small stipend, will be installed by the end of May and will remain on exhibit through March 2012.

Lawrenceville is honored to have an exhibit of world renowned artist Robert Christie. The show will be a snapshot of his award winning 60+ year career including portraits, wildlife and illustrations from books and collector plates.
