The museum, housed in the 1830's Lawrenceville Female Seminary, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Gwinnett History Museum currently includes exhibits on farm life, textiles, religion, schools and traditional music. The Heritage Programming and Preservation Office offers special events and classes throughout the year.
