Gwinnett Center and Arena
Gwinnett Center is a multipurpose campus which includes The Arena at Gwinnett Center, Gwinnett Convention Center, Gwinnett Performing Arts Center and the Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts. The 80-acre lakefront campus is beautifully landscaped and architecturally stunning, with soaring atriums and modern angles offering a beautiful backdrop for any event.
Location is everything, and Gwinnett Center is in the heart of Northeast Atlanta's business and premier housing districts. Located just off of I-85 and Sugarloaf Parkway, Gwinnett Center is just minutes from the major districts in Gwinnett, including Gwinnett Place, Mall of Georgia, Peachtree Corners/Technology Park and many more. There are numerous dining options in this area with many restaurants located within walking distance or a quick 5-minute drive from the complex.
Gwinnett Convention Center: The heart of the convention center is the 50,000 square foot exhibit hall. The exhibit hall has a ceiling height of 28 feet, an unlimited load-bearing floor and the ability to be divided into three individual halls. With drive-in access and nine covered loading docks, set-up and breakdowns are a smooth and efficient process for over 300 exhibitors. This versatile room can be transformed into a venue for tradeshows, conventions, concerts, elegant banquets and sporting events. The facility also has a custom sound system and a two-part dimmable fixed and production lighting system, and can be tailored to meet your individual production requirements. Connections for electricity and telecommunications are conveniently located in the exhibit hall floor.
The Gwinnett Convention Center also has 23 versatile meeting rooms and a 21,600 square foot Grand Ballroom that is fully capable of meeting your every need. Retractable air walls are incorporated into the meeting rooms and ballroom, which provides unlimited options so you are able to customize the size of your event.
The Arena at Gwinnett Center: The Arena holds traditional events such as major concerts, family shows, ECHL hockey and other sporting events to non-traditional events such as tradeshows, large conventions, political campaign rallies, religious gatherings and speaking events. Regardless of the type of event, The Arena at Gwinnett Center can handle it all. With a seating capacity of 13,000, The Arena features a state-of-the-art house reduction system which can easily, comfortably and quickly convert the space for groups ranging from 3,500 to 13,000. The Arena includes 36-corporate suites, 2-party suites, 6-executive suites and club level seats. The venue also has a spacious concourse, wide seats, a high-end sound system and acoustic enhancements that provide the best environment for experiencing a wide range of events.
Events can also take advantage of the Gwinnett Convention Center, which is adjacent to The Arena, for banquets, breakouts and exhibits.
Gwinnett Performing Arts Center: This beautiful 702-seat theatre is a crowning achievement in technological wizardry with all the amenities you would expect to find at a fabulous Broadway playhouse. Not only is it ideally suited for every type of dramatic stage production, it can also serve as a concert hall for musical performances or as a civic auditorium for corporate presentations.
The stage features a removable acoustical orchestra shell. When combined with the sound absorbing draperies and high tech house speaker system that produces nearly 18,000 watts of power, this orchestra shell greatly enhances the sound and quality of any music for an enjoyable listening experience your audience will not soon forget. And, with the intimate seating arrangement, there truly is not a bad seat in the house.
Above stage, there's a lighting grid that's accessible both from above and below and a sophisticated fly system for fast and efficient scenery changes. Backstage, the first class operations center includes easy access loading platforms, production offices, technician rooms, celebrity and chorus dressing rooms equipped with full baths and make-up facilities, all of which contribute to making your production a rousing success.
Jaqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts: Whether you are seeking a setting with casual elegance or an artistic flair, The Hudgens Center for the Arts can accommodate your needs. This facility is one of Gwinnett's best kept secrets. The award-winning Al Weeks Sculpture Garden offers a serene site, perfect for romantic wedding ceremonies and receptions. With 2,800 sq. ft. of enclosed, private outdoor space, this setting features a lily pond with waterfalls and koi, and garden seating. The Garden was recently named an official Wildlife Sanctuary by the Audubon Society.
The distinctive design and layout of the interior, features lovely art galleries, and provides a variety of options for entertainment and surrounds your guests with style. The Grand Hall, Classic Room and Rowe Promenade offer 6,398 sq. ft. of space with the capability of hosting a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or reception.
