Facilities
The 80-acre lakefront campus is beautifully landscaped and architecturally stunning, with soaring atriums and modern angles offering a beautiful backdrop for any event. Anchoring the convention Center is the column free, 50,000 square foot Exhibit Hall with 28-foot ceilings and an unlimited floor load. The Exhibit Hall is an ideal venue for trade shows, conventions, concerts and sporting events. It can be easily transformed into a sophisticated site for a large banquet seating over 2,800 people. With two drive-in ramps and six covered, well-lighted dock bays, set-up and break-down are a smooth and efficient process for over 300 exhibitors. Our crowning touch is our exquisite Grand Ballroom. With a 25-foot ceiling height and versatile flexibility, this 21,600 sq. ft. ballroom helps meet the demand for additional space. It can accommodate 1,500 people in a banquet setting, and can be quickly reconfigured. The lakefront pre-function space (7,500 sq. ft.) offers a wonderfully gallery area for a cocktail reception or relaxation.
The Arena at Gwinnett Center has a seating capacity of 13,000, and features a state-of-the-art house reduction system that can easily and comfortably convert the space for groups from 3,500 to 13,000. The Arena includes 38 corporate suites, wider seats, a high-end sound system, exceptional back of the house amenities, green room and a spacious concourse.
The 702-seat Performing Arts Center has all the technological enhancements found in a Broadway playhouse. It is ideal for stage productions, musical performances, intimate concerts, corporate or civic events. The theatre setting provides excellent visibility and acoustics, and the high-tech sound system is enhanced by a removable orchestra shell.
The Center also features an executive teleconference suite, 14 break-out rooms, wireless Internet access and hotspots throughout. The food and beverage department, Proof of the Pudding, has an excellent reputation for creative cuisine, and the top-notch staff has a deserved reputation for excellence in client relations.
