Dear Potential Volunteer,
From May 19-24, 2009, Oglethorpe University and the Gwinnett Sports Commission will co-host the NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championships at Collins Hill Athletic Club in Gwinnett County, Georgia. To ensure the success of this prestigious event, help will be needed. We are seeking numerous hard working and enthusiastic volunteers to lend their time, talent and knowledge to this event.
The Team Championship matches run from May 19-21, and the Individual Championship matches will run from May 22-24. Volunteers will be needed to assist within a variety of different roles, including: scoring, hospitality, daily prep, sports information, etc. Volunteers with a tennis background are encouraged, but those without a tennis background can assist in a variety of roles as well.
The local organizing committee is working hard to ensure that these Championships are a huge success for both the student-athletes and the fans. This National Championship relies on the help and support of volunteers, without whom, the event could not run.
