Welcome to Gwinnett County, Georgia!
The mission of the Gwinnett Sports Commission (GSC) is to foster economic development through coordinating and developing Gwinnett's role as a leading site for sports events involving youth, collegiate, amateur and professional organizations. Located just 30 minutes north of downtown Atlanta off of I-85, Gwinnett encompasses 15 cities (including Duluth, Norcross, Suwanee, Buford, Lawrenceville and Lilburn) and is the home of the Arena at Gwinnett Center, Suwanee Sports Academy, Life Time Tennis of Atlanta, SGAA Athletic In-Line Hockey Complex, the TPC at Sugarloaf and the top-ranked facilities of Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation, named as the #1 Parks and Recreation department in the nation by the National Parks Association.

The GSC can provide you with assistance on all aspects of your event. Give us your game plan and leave the rest to us! As the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau's Sports Marketing division, the GSC knows Gwinnett sports better than anyone. Not only will our services save you time, energy and long-distance phone bills, most importantly there is NO CHARGE for these services.
FACILITY & HOUSING SERVICES
- Research and facilitate finding the best hotel rates. We can narrow the search to a specific area or hotel chain, or check all of Gwinnett's 100 hotels.
- Collect hotel and facility bid proposals and provide them to you in a professionally compiled presentation
- Conduct site inspections of venues and hotels
MARKETING & PROMOTION
- Coverage through the GCVB's media/online/social media outlets,
- Coverage in the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors E-Newsletter
- Coverage in the GCVB/GSC's Calendar of Events
