Founded in 1892, Auburn was a railroad town that retains much of its small town spirit, and plays host to a number of fairs and festivals throughout the year. Located at the Barrow County-Gwinnett County line, Auburn's population of just over 3,000 residents is within a forty-minute drive of both Atlanta and Athens.
