GCVB Complimentary Event Planning Services for the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau/Gwinnett Sports Commission

Planning a meeting involves endless details, lots of phone calls and ongoing e-mail communications. From site selection to housing to tracking to registration, the needs of a meeting and event planner are endless. That is where the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau (GCVB) sales and marketing staff are here to help you. Our staff will assist you in making your next event a great success.

Accommodations and Facilities Arrangements

Our facilities include the award-winning Gwinnett Center and Arena at Gwinnett Center, one of the Southeast's top mid-sized meeting and convention facilities. Gwinnett County features 100 hotels, ranging from economy to full-service, with professional, experienced staffs familiar with large meetings, raucous family reunions or family-oriented sporting competitions. We’ll handle all of your needs – coordinating and compiling rate, availability and room blocks – quickly, efficiently and professionally.

Site Inspections

We offer and coordinate housing and facility site inspections; provide complimentary stays for group leaders during the site inspections (subject to restrictions)

Welcome Bags

Let your group know that they are welcome in Gwinnett. We'll provide room-night generating groups complimentary welcome bags (for groups booked through the GCVB) with Visitors Guides, Visitors map, small welcome gift and more. A picture is worth a thousand words. Our complimentary media assistance includes:

·  Complete local and regional media lists

·  Assistance with press releases and marketing materials

·  Atlanta and Gwinnett Photography 

·  Editorial coverage in newsletter, website and local publications (based upon event)
