The Gwinnett Sports Commission and Collins Hill Athletic Club are proud to have successfully hosted the Inaugural Gwinnett Sports Commission Women’s 50K Classic November 2006. This event is part of the fabric of the local community, delivering the excitement and intensity of professional tennis-up close and personal. Thank you to all our great sponsors, volunteers and everyone else who supported this fantastic event.

Through the partnerships of the Gwinnett Sports Commission, the Collins Hill Athletic Club, and the community this event is well on its way to becoming one of the most successful USTA Circuit Events. This event along with other circuit events provide professional tournament competition for pros beginning their careers, pros who previously have broken into major tour ranks and are looking to return to the top, and top ranked junior players.

The 2008 USTA Women’s 50K Classic will be held October 12-19. It will be hosted by Collins Hill Athletic Club along with the Gwinnett Sports Commission. Prize money for the event will be $50,000. A variety of events covering the eight days include: Wild Card Singles and Doubles Tournaments, Pro-Am Tournament, Kid’s Clinic, Ladies Clinics, Featured Matches, and culminating with the Main Draw Event.
